- UScribe
Your note is written before you leave the room.
UScribe listens to the visit, drafts a structured SOAP note, suggests ICD-10 codes and sends the signed note to eClinicalWorks. Its clinical Assistant answers questions and drafts letters, with sources attached.
From spoken visit to signed note in five steps
CLINICIANHow has the cough been since we started the inhaler?
PATIENTBetter during the day, but it still wakes me up a couple of nights a week.
CLINICIANAny fever, or shortness of breath when you walk?
PATIENTNo fever. A little winded on the stairs at work.
Everything between the waiting room and the signed chart
Schedule and pre-visit summary
Your eClinicalWorks schedule syncs in, and a short read-only summary of past visits gets you up to speed before you walk in.
Capture the whole visit
Record, pause and resume for visits up to an hour, or upload audio recorded on another device.
SOAP notes from your templates
Drafts come back in your own format. Build templates from 29 sections and set a default.
ICD-10 code suggestions
Codes are proposed from the assessment, with the reason for each. Edit, remove or re-code after changes.
One-click push to eClinicalWorks
The signed note and codes are written back to the encounter, with warnings before the lock deadline.
Chrome extension
Keep UScribe open beside your EHR to record, review and push without switching windows.
Practice tools
Practice admins invite providers, manage seats and track usage. Each provider keeps their own login and notes.
Enterprise
SSO and SCIM provisioning, custom retention policy, dedicated BAA and security review.
Clinical answers with the sources attached
Ask about the encounter, a drug label, a guideline or a coverage policy. Every answer cites where it came from.
- Answers clinical questions with numbered sources, so you can check every answer
- Grounded in the visit note and transcript, plus MedlinePlus, FDA, PubMed and CMS
- Drafts patient handouts, prior authorization and referral letters, and work or school notes
- Edit any draft and export it as a PDF
Guidelines generally suggest checking inhaler technique and adherence first, then stepping up therapy, for example to a low-dose ICS-LABA combination. A follow-up review in 2 to 6 weeks is commonly recommended.

Which EHRs does UScribe work with?
UScribe connects to eClinicalWorks today and pushes the signed note and codes to the encounter. It will also be built into the CliniQura EHR when that launches.
What happens to the visit audio?
Audio uploads in small parts while you record. Once the transcript is generated, the audio is removed. PHI is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Can I use my own note format?
Yes. Build custom templates from 29 sections, set a default and duplicate any template. Every draft follows the template you pick.
What if I miss the lock deadline?
Notes close to their lock window are flagged. After the deadline, pushing to the EHR is disabled, but the note is never deleted.
Does the Assistant make clinical decisions?
No. The Assistant supports clinical judgment and does not replace it. Every answer cites its sources so you can check them.
